What is a Root Canal?

Do I Really Need Root Canal Therapy?

There are some good reasons to consider root canal therapy. You might be a good candidate if any of the following apply to you.

  • Tooth decay invades the tooth, and penetrates through the enamel and then to the dentin in to the pulp.
  • Your tooth has become abscessed/infected from decay.
  • If tooth trauma, such as a chipped or a broken tooth, happens and results in the exposure of a nerve.
  • Your tooth is slowly dying, due to aging or past trauma that might not have needed treatment at the time of the injury.
